2 cups dry roasted cashews or peanuts
2 cups rice crackers, broken
1 cup wasabi-flavored dried peas
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons Asian chili paste (sambal oelek).
1 teaspoon ground ginger.
1 teaspoon garlic powder.
1 teaspoon kosher salt.
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper.

Action 1.
Preheat oven to 250 °. Line 2 15 × 10-inch baking pans with parchment paper. In a large bowl, integrate pretzels, rice square cereal, chow mein noodles, sesame sticks, cashews, rice crackers, dried peas.

Step 2.
In a little saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, Asian chile paste, ginger, garlic powder, salt and crushed red pepper. Heat over low till butter melts, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour over mix in bowl; toss to coat. Divide mix in between ready pans, spreading equally.

Action 3.
Bake 45 minutes, stirring mix and rotating pans every 15 minutes. Cool totally on pans. Shop in an airtight container up to 1 week.
